Notice
Name what is actually happening in the body — sensation, tension, tempo — without grading it as good or bad.
Hypnotherapy · Somatics · Nervous-System Literacy
You’re not. The response made sense when your system first learned it — it simply hasn’t been updated since. Online hypnotherapy and somatic work to bring your body and subconscious up to date with what you already know.
The Method
Judgment narrows. Understanding creates room. Instead of treating you as a defect to be fixed, the work gives you a loop you can run on your own — in a meeting, in traffic, at 3 a.m.
Name what is actually happening in the body — sensation, tension, tempo — without grading it as good or bad.
Find the controls you can actually reach right now: breath, posture, gaze, pace, contact, attention.
Run a small, deliberate experiment instead of an automatic response. Agency stays with you.
Read your own data. What shifted, what didn’t, and what that tells us about the next move.
How I work
Craving, shutdown, anxiety, and overwhelm are treated as intelligent survival responses rather than personal failures. When shame drops, curiosity becomes possible. Curiosity is what makes learning safe.
A dysregulated body cannot think clearly or choose well on command. We settle the nervous system first. The story is revisited afterward, with more of you available to look at it.
Every practice includes permission to modify, slow down, keep your eyes open, stay seated, observe, or pass. The work meets your nervous system where it actually is, not where it is supposed to be.
Awareness answers “I know why.” Integration answers “I no longer need to react that way.” Every session moves toward the second one.
The goal is not a long relationship with me. The goal is that you become a better observer of your own mind, body, and behavior — until you can keep going without me.
My first career was architecture: reading systems, finding what is not working, rebuilding it soundly. I bring the same lens to people.
For meaningful, lasting change around a specific issue or pattern. Hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and subconscious work to shift the responses that no longer serve you.
I don’t watch the clock. We stay with the process until it reaches a natural completion.
Not every session needs to be a deep dive. Sometimes you need help finding your footing after a difficult week, or working through something that’s come up unexpectedly.
Available in 15-, 30-, 60-, or 90-minute formats, depending on what you need.
For people already doing meaningful work in therapy who want their subconscious mind and nervous system to fully participate in the changes they’re making.
Bridges the gap between understanding and embodiment.
An experiential group for treatment centers, recovery programs, and organizations. Nervous-system education, somatic experiments, and practical tools participants can apply immediately.
Each group is adapted to the population. Available virtually or in person by arrangement.
One-to-one sessions
You probably already know why you react the way you do.
You’ve read the books. You’ve been to therapy. You’ve had the breakthroughs. You understand your patterns.
And yet, in the moments that matter, your body still reaches for the old response.
That’s because insight doesn’t automatically become integration.
My work bridges that gap.
Using hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and nervous system-based approaches, I help your subconscious and your body catch up with what your conscious mind already knows—so change begins to feel natural instead of forced.
This isn’t about fixing you.
There was never anything wrong with you. Your nervous system simply learned the best strategies it could with the information it had at the time. Those strategies may no longer serve you, but they can be updated.
Willpower isn’t what you’re missing either. It’s a starter motor—enormous force for a few seconds, then it hands off. I’d rather you spend it getting to the session and doing the experiment than burning it trying to force a pattern in real time.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, repeating familiar relationship patterns, struggling with anxiety or self-sabotage, or simply sensing that you’re capable of showing up differently in your life, we’ll work together to create change from the inside out.
I work remotely with clients around the world through private online sessions.
If you’re looking for another conversation about your problems, I’m probably not the right fit.
If you’re ready for your mind, body, and subconscious to start working together instead of against each other, I’d love to help.
One to One
Sessions may include hypnosis, guided imagery, mindfulness, EFT, breathwork, grounding, and concrete behavioral-change planning — sequenced to what your system is doing. All sessions are private and online.
No cost, no obligation
A short introductory call to talk through what you’re working on and whether this is the right fit — before you book anything.
Deep Change Session
Typically one to two hours — shorter or significantly longer depending on what unfolds.
Support Session
15, 30, 60, or 90 minutes — whatever the week actually needs.
Therapy Integration Program
For people already doing meaningful work in therapy.
What individual work can address
What it is not: medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, crisis services, or a guarantee of outcome. Sessions are paid at the time of booking.
The Lab
Nervous-system education, somatic experiments, practical tools, and interactive exercises participants can apply immediately in everyday life. Each group is adapted to the needs of the population. Available virtually or in person by arrangement.
People do not change through insight alone. They change through repeated experiences of safety, awareness, regulation, choice, and new action. The Lab is built bottom-up — breath, posture, movement, sensation, orientation — and every session runs as an experiment. Participants are never told which tool should work. They test one, collect honest data, and find out what actually shifts their own system. No result is wrong.
The goal is not to change the person. The goal is to create enough safety, understanding, and embodied access that people can reconnect with capacities already present.
Every group follows five steps
Notice where you actually are — a number, a word, a sensation.
The theme, in clear and unoverwhelming language.
A somatic or experiential practice, with options for different nervous-system states.
Notice what changed. Every response is information.
Leave with one tool to test outside the room.

Why the right starting point is different for everyone.
Grounded witnessing and the body’s signals.

About Sonya
Sonya trained first in architectural engineering, and it still shapes how she works. She looks for patterns, feedback loops, and leverage points — the same way a complex structure becomes workable once you understand what each part is carrying.
Her approach combines clinical hypnotherapy, somatic awareness, and behavioral-change methodology in a calm, structured sequence: notice the logic behind the response, replace the deficit story with accurate information, then restore genuine choice through small experiments you can test.
“People do not need to be treated as defects to access change.”
She also facilitates psychoeducational and experiential groups on anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance-use recovery, life transitions, and mindfulness — built for psychological safety, with no forced participation.

Questions people ask
No. Hypnosis is not unconsciousness and it is not surrender. You remain aware, you can speak, move, and stop at any point, and you will not do anything that conflicts with your values. It is closer to a focused, absorbed state you have already experienced — driving a familiar route, or losing an hour in a book.
Nearly everyone can access a useful state, though people get there differently and at different speeds. How readily you respond is not a measure of intelligence, willpower, or character. If one door does not open easily, we use another.
It depends on what you are working with and how your system responds. Many people begin to notice shifts within the first few sessions. I will not quote you a number before I have met you, and the goal is always for the work to end — not to continue indefinitely.
We talk about what is going on and what you want to be different. I explain what your nervous system is likely doing and why. Then we move into an experience — breath, somatic work, or hypnosis — and afterward we look at what changed. You leave with something practical to use.
All one-to-one sessions are private and online, and I work with clients around the world. The Lab is available to facilities virtually or in person by arrangement.
Skepticism is welcome and it does not interfere. You do not have to believe anything for your nervous system to respond. I would rather you test the work than trust it.
Talk therapy is largely top-down — understanding first. This work is bottom-up — it starts in the body and works toward meaning. Many of my clients have done years of good therapy and arrive understanding themselves well. What they are missing is not insight; it is integration.
Emotion is information, not a problem, and nothing is forced. You can slow down, pause, keep your eyes open, or stop at any moment. Pacing belongs to you.
Scope of practice
I practice within the scope of clinical hypnotherapy and psychoeducation. I do not diagnose or treat mental illness, I do not prescribe, and I do not promise cures. This work complements — and never replaces — psychotherapy, medical care, psychiatric care, or a treatment program. Where it is useful, I am glad to work alongside your existing providers. If you are in crisis or in immediate danger, please contact emergency services or call or text 988 in the United States.
